A new Costco Wholesale Center is coming to El Dorado Hills, adding another anchor retailer to the growing commercial landscape of El Dorado County. The company recently closed escrow on 40 acres near Silva Valley Parkway, solidifying plans for a 156,000-square-foot warehouse with a fuel facility, home delivery hub, and a variety of retail services.

The recently completed Public Safety Facility is the largest capital project in the county’s history. The facility, which is just 2 miles from the project, employs roughly 400 staff members.

Construction is in full swing on the Highway 49 improvement project, between Diamond Springs and Piedmont Oak Estates.

A brand new Target took over the old Kmart store and opened its doors to customers in August 2020 after extensive renovations.
