Construction is in full swing on the Highway 49 improvement project, between Diamond Springs and Piedmont Oak Estates. The county has also put in motion the timeline for Diamond Springs Parkway construction as years 2022 & 2023. This will make it a less than 5 minutes drive off Highway 50 on Missouri Flat Road into Piedmont Oak Estates.
